Stability
1) Cu-BTC-IPA retains 95% of its initial surface area and 90% of its initial CO2 adsorption capacity after soaking in water for 4 days. It also maintains 83% of its initial surface area after 12 hours in dilute HCl solution (pH = 3).
Preservation
1) Store in a dry and cool condition.
2) Activate by heating at room temperature in a vacuum oven for 3 hours before use.
Other Features
NA
Applications
1) Ideal for CO2/CH4 and CO2/N2 separation due to its high CO2 adsorption selectivity and excellent water stability, suitable for natural gas purification and flue gas separation.
2) High surface area and good gas adsorption properties make it suitable for gas storage applications.
3) The modified water-resistant form of HKUST-1, it could be applied in the humid environments where HKUST-1 was previously considered as inapplicable.
