Stability
1) Stable in strong acid (6M HCl), strong base (6M NaOH), boiling water and other solutions
2) Thermal decomposition temperature > 400 °C in N₂ atmosphere.
Preservation
1) Store in a dry and sealed condition at room temperature.
2)To be activated by vacuum drying at 120 °C before use.
Other Features
Fluorescence: Present. Before adsorbing Hg(II), the emission wavelength is 534 nm. After adsorbing Hg(II), the fluorescence intensity drops to less than 8% of the original. After adsorbing Hg(II), a new strong peak appears at 605 nm in the electronic absorption spectrum.
Applications
1) Highly efficient in adsorbing Hg(II) ions in water, with high removal efficiency and capacity.
2) Can selectively adsorb toxic heavy metal ions such as Hg(II) and Pb(II) in water.
