Stability
1) Stable in solutions with pH ranging from 3 to 13, and stable in air with 50% relative humidity environment for 1 week.
2) Thermally stable up to approximately 400 °C
Preservation
1) Keep in a dry and sealed condition.
2) Before gas adsorption experiments, the sample is suggested to beactivated under vacuum at 423 K (150 °C) to remove adsorbed impurity gases.
Other Features
1) Excellent SF6 adsorption capacity: At 298 K and 0.1 bar, the SF6 uptake reaches 2.47 mmol/g, which is higher than many well - known MOFs such as MIL-100(Fe) (0.30 mmol/g) and UiO-66 (0.82 mmol/g).
2) High SF6/N2 selectivity: At 298 K and 1.0 bar, the IAST selectivity is 748.1, superior to most reported materials like Ga-TCPB (418) and Ni(ina)2 (375.1).
Applications
1) For the efficient adsorption, separation, and recovery of SF6 from SF6/N2 gas mixtures. It is particularly suitable for the treatment of SF6/N2 mixtures (volume ratios such as 10/90 or 1/9) during the installation, maintenance, and scrapping of electrical equipment, aiming to recycle SF6 and reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.
